At In Bloom, Scott McCool has cultivated an aesthetic which blends working functionality with elements of both contemporary and traditional floral design.

Scott McCool opened in October 1990 with the goal of creating a working flower shop that would raise the bar on the standard of excellence on fresh flowers in Houston. The concept of “a working flower shop” allows him to import the finest flowers from Holland, Central America, Hawaii and other domestic origins. This quality of product, combined with and atmosphere of unbridled creativity, facilitates unlimited design possibilities. Scott’s keen sense of style, paired with his seasoned design staff, produce a vast array of design styles ranging from simple to elaborate.

After ten years of business in Houston, Scott moved his operation to a five thousand square foot shop/warehouse on Fairview at Montrose Blvd. This new location has proven to be the perfect staging area for any number of seasonal installations, charity benefits, weddings and daily order production. The warehouse provides over 300 square feet of cooler space and room to house some of the most unique containers and fixtures in Houston. Scott and his team can accommodate even the most challenging of requests.
